Double Your Fun
*scurryscurryscurryshirrrTHUD*
Hmm… that can’t be good.
That, incidentally, was the sound of little clawed feet sprinting across the hardwood floors in my living room, propelling one small pile of fur straight into the large framed picture I had leaning against the wall, causing the picture to flop over onto the floor. Luckily (heaven knows how) the picture was entirely unharmed during this process. It has now been relocated to a more secure spot out of the line of fire.
The good news is, all this scurrying around is because Charlie and Coriander seem to be getting along swimmingly now. Cori still shies away from people (i.e. me), but she seems to have latched onto Charlie with no problem. Charlie, for his part, has adjusted very well to his new role as big brother. They play together all over the place.
They were playing so well together last night, in fact, that today I left Cori uncaged all day while I was at work. I was quite happy to find both cats in good spirits when I got home, and with no major casualties for the day (the papasan chair had been tilted off its stand, but that was it). Tonight is the first night they’ll both be out and about at night though, so we’ll see how that affects my sleep.
In general though, I’m very happy to have both my little feline friends. I’m glad they seem to be happy with each other too.
