Munch Munch Munch
Yes, it’s yet another bento box post. Hey, we’re short on excitement ’round these parts.

I neglected to post yesterday’s lunch yesterday, and I neglected to take a picture of today’s lunch today, so in a whirlwind of time-travel, you get… yesterday’s lunch today!
Please. Contain your excitement.
In the top layer, I had two quarters of French Toast bagel from Panera Bread. Tucked in among them were a bunch of chocolate-covered hazelnuts I’ve had in my fridge for a bit, so I thought it was time to clear them out. Next to that, I had a little 8oz juice box container of apple juice.
The bottom layer of the bento I was really pleased with though. In terms of the presentation. Nice variety of colors in the food and containers, nice symmetry. The box contains 4 small silicone baking cups with various fruits and veggies: canned pears, cooked broccoli, grape tomatos, baby carrots. In the middle we have two wedges of Laughing Cow light cheese and two little bundles of lunch meat (ham and roast beef).
At lunch time, I assembled the meat, cheese, and bagel quarters into tasty little open faced bagle sandwiches. in theory, I could have pre-assembled these, but I kind of like being able to choose my combinations at lunch.
Incidently, lunch today was packed in one of the “real” bento boxes I ordered off eBay. It was a little smaller than I’d expected them to be, so I ended up with a little side dish container with some extra fruit. However, I had some leftover Wild Mushroom Frittata from the pool hall last night - a few pieces of that were a *great* addition to the lunch.
I’ll try to do better with pictures tomorrow.
